Common Phrases – Apologizing Pt. II

On Monday we looked at some of the most common ways to apologize. There are a few more advanced ways to apologize as well. Some of these use longer phrases or more complicated words. Beginner speakers should start with these phrases. More advanced users can try to add these phrases as well.

  1. I am quite sorry for that.
  2. How careless of me.
  3. Please excuse me.
  4. Please accept my sincerest apology.
  5. Please excuse my thoughtlessness.

Try to use these, or variations of these, the next time you need to apologize.
